'White Lilies 3' by Alex Katz is a silkscreen measuring 146.1 × 101.6 cm, produced in 2025. Two white lily blooms — one fully open, one still in bud — rise on crossing dark green stems against a flat, pale aquamarine ground. Katz renders the petals with his characteristic economy: broad, near-flat planes of white edged with thin gold outlines, the stamens reduced to quick black dashes at the centre. The large format amplifies the cropping effect, cutting petals at the left and right edges so the flower reads as close-up and monumental without any atmospheric depth.
