Airbrush

An airbrush is a device that sprays various media, including paint and ink, using compressed air. Artists use airbrushes to create a smooth, even application of color, often achieving effects that are not possible with traditional brushes. James Rosenquist, an American Pop artist, regularly used an airbrush in his work. Before gaining fame with pieces like the iconic F-111 (1965), he worked as a commercial and industrial painter, where he honed his airbrush skills.

Coloured pencil

Colored pencils consist of a core made from various colored pigments mixed with a binder, encased in wood. They can also be found as solid pigment sticks without the wooden casing. When drawing, the pigment is transferred to a surface, allowing for lines and shading in different thicknesses.

Pastel

Pastel is an art medium in stick form made from powdered pigment and a binder. The pigments used in pastels are the same as those in other colored art media. The color effect of pastels closely resembles that of dry pigments, more so than any other medium. Artworks created with pastels are called pastel paintings, pastel drawings, or simply pastels. The term pastel can also refer to the process of creating art using pastel sticks.
