What is Found Object?

A found object is a term used to describe a man-made or natural object, or a fragment of one, that an artist discovers or purchases and keeps for inspiration or as a work of art. The artist may also modify the object or incorporate it into a collage or assemblage, transforming it into a new piece of art.

Computer printing

Computer printing involves using computer technology to reproduce fine art images as prints. In its basic form, this means creating digital versions of artwork that are printed onto paper. More advanced techniques allow artists to program computers to generate original art, which is then printed using various printing technologies.

Monochrome

Monochromatic describes paintings, photographs, designs, or drawings that utilize one color or various shades of a single color. Monochromatic objects have a limited range of hues. While the term often refers to black and white or grayscale images, it can also apply to any artwork that contains tones of just one color.

Original artwork

Original artwork is art that stems directly from the personal inspiration and creativity of an artist. It is not a direct copy of another artist’s work, though it may be inspired by it. The subject matter can be similar, but it cannot be an exact replication. The term also refers to a unique piece, as opposed to a multiple or edition.
