Signed to the lower edge of ‘Jim Dine’. An unnumbered proof apart from the edition of 200. Published by Galerie Mikro, Berlin. Literature: Mikro 54. Imogen III by Jim Dine, created in 1969, is a vibrant example of the artist’s expressive approach to color and emotion. This small-scale screenprint and lithograph combines bright, fluid washes of pigment with the central motif of a heart, a recurring symbol in Dine’s work. Rendered in a kaleidoscope of colors—yellows, reds, blues, and greens—the image evokes both vulnerability and warmth. The blending of media, including paper collage, adds texture and depth to the surface. Dine’s heart becomes more than an icon; it acts as a vessel for personal expression, sentiment, and artistic spontaneity.

What is Neo-Dada?
Neo-Dada is a minor visual and audio art movement with intents similar to those of Dada artwork. While it revives some of Dada's objectives, Neo-Dada emphasizes the importance of the produced artwork rather than the concept behind it. The movement is considered the foundation of Pop Art, Nouveau Réalisme, and Fluxus. Neo-Dada is known for its use of absurdist contrasts, popular imagery, and modern materials, blending high and low culture in a way that challenges traditional artistic conventions.
