The heavyweight Somerset paper lends the image a sumptuous tactile presence, while Emin's characteristic loose, searching line conveys the vulnerability of a body surrendered to sleep. Signed, titled, dated and numbered on the front by the artist. A mature and quietly powerful addition to Emin's enduring meditation on solitude and domestic intimacy.
