What is Readymade?

Readymade is the term Marcel Duchamp used to describe his artworks made from objects which were manufactured. The French artist first used the term, and artists who work similarly now use it. Duchamp chose functional objects which he felt had visual indifference.

C-Print

Also known as Chromogenic or C type print. A print that's made from slide or color negative exposed to chromogenic paper containing three emulsion layers sensitized to non similar primary colors. Once the image is exposed, it is dipped into a chemical bath for each layer to react towards the chemical so as to create an image.

Photogravure

Photogravure is a high-quality printing process where a photograph is etched onto a copper plate. The plate is then inked and pressed onto paper, creating fine art prints with a distinctive, detailed appearance. This method, developed in the 19th century, is celebrated for its ability to produce soft tones and rich textures, making it ideal for art reproductions.

Giclée printing

Giclée printing is a computerized technique for reproducing artwork using a digital file and a special ink jet printer which uses acrylic, oil paints or ink. This reproduction process results in an extremely high level of color and image accuracy.
