Hand-signed by artist, Signed verso. // On a cream-mounted square, a torso shot: the figure stands in a black lace bra slightly displaced and crisp white briefs, a fine gold chain at the neck, one hand resting at her waist. The Polaroid's warm cast and abrupt cropping give the image confessional intimacy. Unique colour print from original Polaroid, hand-signed verso. The 12.11.2001 self-portrait shoot is one of the most autobiographically charged Emin sequences; each unique print is its own document. A characteristically vulnerable, beloved acquisition to collect from one of Britain's most uncompromising autobiographical artists.
