Lithograph // Jim Dine's The Red Patch (2005) is a limited edition lithograph that displays his iconic heart motif, here rendered in vibrant red and yellow hues. The composition is divided into four large heart shapes, textured with bold, expressive strokes that give the print a sense of dynamic movement. The overlapping layers of warm colors, predominantly red, orange, and yellow, create an almost fiery effect, evoking both passion and intensity. Dine's characteristic use of the heart symbol, which he often revisits in his work, here feels both personal and universal, representing themes of love, emotion, and human connection.

What is Neo-Dada?
Neo-Dada is a minor visual and audio art movement with intents similar to those of Dada artwork. While it revives some of Dada's objectives, Neo-Dada emphasizes the importance of the produced artwork rather than the concept behind it. The movement is considered the foundation of Pop Art, Nouveau Réalisme, and Fluxus. Neo-Dada is known for its use of absurdist contrasts, popular imagery, and modern materials, blending high and low culture in a way that challenges traditional artistic conventions.
