What is a photography?

Photography is the process of creating an image on light sensitive materials. The image is produced by using a camera, which has a lens that focuses on light either reflected or emitted from an object. These visible wavelengths are used to reproduce the image seen.

Clay

Clay is a natural material formed when rocks break down over time due to weathering. Water carries the fine particles of earth, which accumulate as a soft, sticky substance called muck. This muck is collected, cleaned, and refined by removing impurities like rocks and adding sand to improve its texture, resulting in usable clay.

Replica

A replica is a copy of an artwork that is so precisely made that it is nearly indistinguishable from the original. Artists may create replicas of their own work, or replicas can be produced for educational purposes, preservation, or display when the original cannot be shown. While replicas aim to closely mimic the original, they are usually identified as reproductions rather than original works.

Charcoal

Charcoal is made from charred wood and is used in both initial sketches and finished drawings. It can be easily smudged or erased, making it versatile for corrections. To make charcoal drawings permanent, a fixative like resin or gum is required. It’s especially useful for sketching first ideas on walls or canvas.
