Offset Lithograph in Colors; Unsigned. Reference: Haring checklist, p. 187; Haring Posters, 4; Kunstlerplakat, p. 199; PAI-LXXXV, 304. At Fun Gallery (1983) by Keith Haring is an offset lithograph that captures the raw, electrifying energy of New York's early 1980s East Village art scene. Designed as a promotional poster for his solo exhibition at the FUN Gallery, the work is a labyrinth of red and black figures, symbols, and zigzag lines, bursting with kinetic rhythm. The central “83” grounds the composition, surrounded by Haring’s iconic humanoid forms in motion. Distributed by Haring himself, this piece served both as art and as a grassroots promotional tool, embodying the street-to-gallery pipeline he helped pioneer.

What is pop-art?
Pop Art is an art movement that began in Britain in 1955 and in the late 1950s in the U.S. It challenged traditional fine arts by incorporating imagery from popular culture, such as news, advertising, and comic books. Pop Art often isolates and recontextualizes materials, combining them with unrelated elements. The movement is more about the attitudes and ideas that inspired it than the specific art itself. Pop Art is seen as a reaction against the dominant ideas of Abstract Expressionism, bringing everyday consumer culture into the realm of fine art.
