Signed in marker at the back. // This 2010 Interférences cercles de couleurs shifts Asis's investigation into a cool chromatic register. Concentric circles in grey — alternating black and white bands — overlap with circles in a range of blues that span from deep navy to soft sky blue and delicate lavender. The interference where grey and blue rings cross produces a shimmering optical field that seems to breathe and pulse with quiet intensity. Unlike the warmer Gris Rouge variant, this composition evokes a contemplative stillness while maintaining the same rigorous density of overlapping forms.
