3 colour lithograph on Somerset Velvet Warm White 400gsm - Signed, numbered, dated and titled on the front // Tracey Emin’s Just Waiting is an evocative lithograph, rendered in a limited palette of blue and black hues. The image depicts a loosely sketched figure lying in what appears to be a bed or perhaps a bathtub, with delicate, expressive lines that capture a sense of vulnerability and contemplation. The soft, fluid brushstrokes and minimal details allow the viewer to focus on the emotional resonance of the scene rather than the specific physicality of the figure. Emin’s characteristic raw and honest approach to representing the human form, particularly in moments of solitude or introspection, is evident in this piece. The title Just Waiting suggests a moment of stillness, a pause in time where emotions linger. Signed, numbered, dated, and titled on the front, this lithograph on Somerset Velvet Warm White paper reflects Emin’s exploration of human fragility, memory, and personal experience.

Who are the Young British Artists - YBA
Young British Artists (YBAs), also known as Britart or Brit artists, refers to a group of artists who began exhibiting together in London in 1988. Most of them graduated from the BA Fine Arts course at Goldsmiths in the late 1980s. The YBAs are known for their wild lifestyles, use of unconventional materials, and a combination of entrepreneurial and oppositional attitudes. They dominated the British art scene in the 1990s and gained significant media attention. Many of these artists were initially supported and collected by Charles Saatchi, a key figure in their rise to prominence.
