// Jacob Kassay's Untitled 6/10 (Radikal) (2013) is a lithograph that engages with themes of media, perception, and reproduction. The artwork features a newspaper layout, presented in a mirrored and distressed manner, with the text appearing backward. The monochromatic palette and the visible imperfections, such as smudges and faded areas, contribute to an aesthetic of decay and fragmentation, evoking the transient nature of printed media. By reversing and distorting the image, Kassay invites viewers to consider how information is presented and perceived, questioning the authenticity and permanence of media in contemporary society. This limited edition print, produced in a small edition of only 2, is a critical commentary on the manipulation and obsolescence of traditional forms of communication.

What is minimalism?
Minimalism is a style in music and visual arts characterized by pared-down designs and simplicity. It began in Western art after World War II, gaining prominence particularly in American visual arts. Minimalism draws heavily on aspects of modernism and is often viewed as a reaction against Abstract Expressionism, as well as a precursor to post-minimal art practices. Prominent minimalist artists include Agnes Martin, Donald Judd, Robert Morris, Frank Stella, and Dan Flavin.
