The set consists of six prints, each showcasing a distinct arrangement of horizontal lines within square compositions. The consistent use of black ink on the etching paper highlights the stark contrast and sharp edges that are central to Judd’s work. Each sheet measures 74 x 86.5 cm, and the prints are individually signed and numbered by the artist, underscoring the exclusivity and meticulous nature of the edition, which is limited to 150 with an additional 20 artist's proofs (AP) and 6 printer's proofs (PP). Published by J&D Fine Arts and printed by Styria Studio in New York, this series continues Judd's exploration of form and repetition, emphasizing simplicity and structural harmony. What is site specific art?

Site-Specific Art is a form of artwork created to exist in a particular location, with the artist considering the site as an integral part of the creative process. Robert Irwin was a key figure in promoting this art form in California. Site-Specific Art emerged as a reaction against modernist objects, which were often portable, commodified, and confined to museum spaces. In contrast, Site-Specific Art is inherently tied to its location, challenging the traditional notions of art as a transportable and marketable commodity.
