Three patinated bronze sculptures - Soñadora, Coqueta and Realista; 150 copies; perfect condition. The tallest is 22 cm and the two others 19cm high. These sizes are included the base, which is in bronze too. // Manolo Valdés’s Las Damas de Barajas (2006) is a striking set of three patinated bronze sculptures, each embodying the artist's characteristic blend of classical and contemporary influences. The three figures, each with a uniquely elaborate and abstract headpiece, resemble busts of regal or aristocratic women. Their textured surfaces, expressive forms, and varying headdress designs bring a playful and imaginative dimension to the traditionally formal art of portrait sculpture. The sculptures, ranging in height from 19 to 22 cm (including their bronze bases), showcase Valdés's masterful technique in transforming recognizable forms into art that is both elegant and avant-garde. This limited edition of 150 pieces is signed by the artist, further enhancing its value as a collectible.

What is site specific art?
Site-Specific Art is a form of artwork created to exist in a particular location, with the artist considering the site as an integral part of the creative process. Robert Irwin was a key figure in promoting this art form in California. Site-Specific Art emerged as a reaction against modernist objects, which were often portable, commodified, and confined to museum spaces. In contrast, Site-Specific Art is inherently tied to its location, challenging the traditional notions of art as a transportable and marketable commodity.
