12 x HERMANN NITSCH UNDER MY SKIN, contains a certificate of Authenticity by Hermann Nitsch signed; the 12 photos (paper size 50x40cm) and 4 pages text by Karlyn De Jongh and Sarah Gold, discribing their thoughts and feelings of Day 7, while being on the cross in the 130th Action by Hermann Nitsch in the Museo Nitsch, Naples, Italy. // Under My Skin (12) by Hermann Nitsch, created in 2010, is a powerful and visceral photographic series comprising twelve images that document a performance rooted in ritualistic and existential themes. Known for his provocative actions within the Viennese Actionism movement, Nitsch's work often explores themes of sacrifice, mortality, and the boundaries of human experience. This series captures moments from his 130th action at Museo Nitsch in Naples, Italy, where participants are depicted engaged in intense, staged scenes that evoke a sense of raw vulnerability and ritualistic catharsis. Covered in red liquid that resembles blood, the participants are positioned in ways reminiscent of religious iconography, particularly the Crucifixion, underscoring the connection between physicality, suffering, and transcendence. Under My Skin challenges viewers to confront themes of life, death, and the profound complexities of the human condition, invoking both shock and contemplation.

What is Sound Art?
Sound Art is an artistic discipline where sound is used as the primary medium. Like other contemporary art genres, Sound Art is inherently interdisciplinary, engaging with a variety of subjects including electronics, acoustics, noise music, psychoacoustics, audio media, video, film, and sculpture. Early examples of Sound Art include Luigi Russolo's noise intoners, as well as experimental works by Surrealists, Dadaists, and the Fluxus movement. These early pioneers helped establish sound as a legitimate medium for artistic expression.
