Lithograph on Magnani Incisione paper // Chromadyna Micap #5 by Felipe Pantone is a vibrant lithograph that embodies the artist's signature exploration of color, light, and digital aesthetics. Created in 2021, this piece displays a dynamic interplay of sharp geometric patterns and gradients that seem to pulse with energy. The bold, pixelated design in vivid hues of blue, orange, red, and black creates an optical illusion, making the artwork appear to shift and vibrate with movement. Printed on Magnani Incisione paper, this limited edition captures Pantone's fusion of technology and traditional art techniques, immersing the viewer in a visually stimulating experience reminiscent of digital screens and glitch effects.

What is kinetic art?
Kinetic art is an international movement that emerged in the 1920s and gained prominence in the 1960s, referring to art that involves both apparent and real motion. It encompasses any medium that includes movement, either relying on actual motion for its effect or being perceived as moving by the viewer. Early examples include canvas paintings designed to create optical illusions of movement. Today, kinetic art often refers to three-dimensional figures and sculptures, such as those operated by machines or those that move naturally. The movement covers a variety of styles and techniques that frequently overlap.
