'Untitled from the Artist for Obama Portfolio' by Jasper Johns is an etching and aquatint from 2008, measuring 21.6 × 30.5 cm, from a hand-numbered edition. The print is divided into two registers: a row of three larger, loosely bounded squares above, and five smaller, nearly uniform panels below. The upper section combines dense cross-hatching, a target-like circular form, a stark black silhouette with a jigsaw-cut edge, and a mottled grey field scattered with fine scratched figures. The lower strip repeats variations of a radial, eye-like disc — a motif central to Johns' printmaking vocabulary — rendered with aquatint washes that shift from deep black to pale grey.
