Signed and numbered on the back. // A yellow brass tuba sits at the centre of the page, hand-painted in warm cadmium against a clean white ground, while four handwritten phrases escalate from "Shut Up" to "Please fucking shut up or I will kill you" at the corners. The visual contradiction — a loud instrument violently silenced — captures Shrigley's signature deadpan absurdism. Produced as a four-colour screenprint on heavyweight Somerset Tub Sized paper, signed and numbered on the reverse, the work is an irresistible distillation of his graphic vocabulary, made in a small edition and instantly recognisable to any collector of contemporary British print.
