His most notable works lie within the series of paintings entitled Portrait of China. Both inside and outside of his famous series, Feng Zhengje's style tends to revolve around oil portraits featuring bright, flashy colors, most apparent upon the lips of females within his works. Often accused of satirizing contemporary China, Zhengjie denies attacking the way of today's society and claims no intention of being provocative, although he has criticized today's abundance of temptations, and their ill effects on the population. According to Zhengjie, Feng Zhengjie’S works merely act as a means of expressing his emotions regarding the aforementioned topic. Feng Zhengjie most recently made an appearance at the World's Apart Fair alongside actor Qi Yuwu, where the two worked together on a piece.
