Plexiglass box and printed matter on different layers - Signed by the artist at the back // Cromodinamiche by Alberto Biasi, created in 2022, is a dynamic mixed-media piece that explores optical effects through color and movement. The artwork consists of multiple layers of printed matter and plexiglass, which together create an illusion of shifting forms and colors depending on the viewer's perspective. The vibrant, undulating patterns of blue, red, yellow, and green emerge through vertical, striped elements that change as one moves around the piece. This interaction between static elements and the illusion of movement is a hallmark of Biasi’s work in the field of kinetic and optical art, where he challenges the viewer's perception of space and form. The piece is signed by the artist on the back, adding a personal touch to this mesmerizing, three-dimensional creation. Cromodinamiche captures Biasi’s ongoing exploration of light, color, and viewer interaction, making it a striking example of contemporary kinetic art.

What is the Zero Movement?

ZERO was an art movement founded by Otto Piene and Heinz Mack, aiming to develop into a large international and cross-border movement. The name ZERO originated from a magazine founded by Heinz Mack in 1957, which became a platform for the group's ideas. The magazine was published for several years before ceasing in 1967. The ZERO movement sought to create a new beginning in art, emphasizing light, space, and movement, and became influential in post-war European art.
