Neo-Dada

Minor visual and audio art movement whose intent is similar to that of Dada artwork. While this art is a revival of some of Dada's objectives, Neo Dada emphasizes the importance of produced artwork rather than the concept used to generate the work. It is regarded as the foundation of Pop art, Nouveau realisme and Fluxus. It is known for its use of absurdist contrast, popular imagery and modern materials.

Happening

Happening is the term used to describes artistic, theatrical events held by artists of the 1950s and 60s. These events were usually staged in a gallery installation or planned environment which featured audience participation, lighting, sounds and slide projections. Later, performance art included the artists.

Hyper modernism

Hyper-modernism is a cultural art movement which uses recent technological approaches and materials, but is in diametrical opposition to the modernist styles of art which preceded it. Hypermodernist artists create extremely realistic images, using all media, which may look like photographs.
