What is inkjet print?

An Inkjet printer makes prints by spraying millions of ink dots onto paper. This type of printing is typically not expensive because the ink used is cheaper. Artists can use computers to create art which can be printed out in color using this technology.

Digital art refers to art which is created using digital technology. It can be generated by computer, drawn or scanned with a tablet using a mouse. Video may be downloaded to computers so artists can manipulate images filmed with a video camera.

Postminimalism

Postminimalism describes the range of art styles in the 1960s which followed Minimalism. Forms of art common the term include conceptual, body, performance, process and site-specific themes. While Minimalism generally embraced impersonality, postminimalists sought to retain Minimalism or embrace expressiveness; investigating new materials and techniques.

Mail art

Populist artistic art movement that is centered on sending work, though small scale postal service. It was initially developed from Fluxus between 1950s-1960s and has since then evolved and developed to become the present day global art movement. Ray Johnson was the first mail artist and his New York School is considered as the first network conscious of mail artists. Mail artists greatly rely on a network as a way of exchanging their artwork.
