Screenprint in colors on wove paper. Edition of 12. Published/printed by Har-El, Jaffa, Israel. Can install vertically or horizontally as conceived by the artist. Sheet size: 175.9 x 68.6 cm (69 1/4 x 27 in) Image size: 175.9 x 68.6 cm (69 1/4 x 27 in) Frame size: 193.0 x 86.4 x 7.0 cm (76 x 34 x 2 3/4 in)// Wallflowers (Aqua and Orange) is a commanding, large-format screenprint in which Sultan's signature stylised floral forms fill the composition with graphic authority. Bold aqua-coloured flower silhouettes — their rounded, cloud-like petals instantly recognisable as Sultan's visual language — are set against a vivid orange ground, creating a striking chromatic tension that vibrates with optical energy. The monumental vertical format, nearly six feet tall, gives the work an environmental presence that transcends conventional printmaking. From an exceptionally rare edition of just twelve impressions, this is a powerful example of Sultan's ability to distil the natural world into forms of irreducible graphic simplicity.

What is pop-art?
Pop Art is an art movement that began in Britain in 1955 and in the late 1950s in the U.S. It challenged traditional fine arts by incorporating imagery from popular culture, such as news, advertising, and comic books. Pop Art often isolates and recontextualizes materials, combining them with unrelated elements. The movement is more about the attitudes and ideas that inspired it than the specific art itself. Pop Art is seen as a reaction against the dominant ideas of Abstract Expressionism, bringing everyday consumer culture into the realm of fine art.
