// A Cosmic Invitation by DabsMyla is a vibrant and playful lithograph that features a surreal combination of nature and fantasy. At the center of the composition is a bouquet of bright, multicolored flowers sprouting from a psychedelic-patterned vase. Below the flowers, large, cartoonish mushrooms with red caps and white spots grow, creating an otherworldly contrast with the greenery that surrounds them. Scattered daisies and lush foliage add to the sense of a fantastical garden. The exaggerated forms and bold use of color, combined with a whimsical, almost dreamlike atmosphere, make this work a signature example of DabsMyla's pop art style.

What is pop-art?
Pop Art is an art movement that began in Britain in 1955 and in the late 1950s in the U.S. It challenged traditional fine arts by incorporating imagery from popular culture, such as news, advertising, and comic books. Pop Art often isolates and recontextualizes materials, combining them with unrelated elements. The movement is more about the attitudes and ideas that inspired it than the specific art itself. Pop Art is seen as a reaction against the dominant ideas of Abstract Expressionism, bringing everyday consumer culture into the realm of fine art.
