Es besteht aus einem Raster schwarzer quadratischer Elemente, von denen einige leicht geneigt sind, um das Licht unterschiedlich einzufangen. Das Spiel von Schatten und Reflexion schafft einen stillen Rhythmus auf der Oberfläche. Die minimalistische, monochrome Farbgebung lenkt den Blick auf Textur, Geometrie und das wechselnde Zusammenspiel von Licht und Form—Kennzeichen von Tomasellos kinetischen und optischen Forschungen. Mit Filzstift auf der Rückseite signiert und das einzige Werk seiner Edition.

Was ist Konkrete Kunst?

Konkrete Kunst ist eine Kunstbewegung, die in den 1930er Jahren vom niederländischen Künstler Theo van Doesburg gegründet wurde. Die Bewegung betont die reine Abstraktion, indem sie sich auf geometrische Formen und Farben konzentriert, ohne Bezug zur natürlichen Welt oder symbolischer Bedeutung. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Formen abstrakter Kunst ist Konkrete Kunst völlig gegenstandslos und basiert auf mathematischen Prinzipien und präziser Ausführung. Sie zielt darauf ab, universelle, zeitlose Werke zu schaffen, die durch einfache, klare Formen Objektivität und Klarheit betonen.
