What is Figuration Libre?

What is Figuration Libre?

This is an art movement equivalent to the French Bad Painting and the Neo-expressionism in Europe and America. This art term was coined by Ben Vautier and Fluxus. Robert Combas, Francois Boisrond, Herve Di Rosa and Remi Blanchard formed the Figuration Libre group back in 1981. This art term can be interpreted as "free style" art.
