Lithograph in colors on BFK Rives. Image: 13.75 × 20 in (35 × 51 cm). Sheet: 15.25 h × 22 in (39 × 56 cm). Signed and numbered to lower edge ‘E.A. Miró’. Printed and published by Mourlot, Paris. Literature: Cramer books 115. Untitled (from the Bouquet de rêves pour Neila portfolio) by Joan Miró is a 1967 color lithograph printed on BFK Rives paper. This artist’s proof, distinct from the edition of 200, exemplifies Miró’s late-career exploration of spontaneity and gesture. The composition blends organic shapes, inky splashes, and star-like symbols, evoking a dreamlike celestial landscape. Dominated by black brush-like forms and accented with soft yellows, greens, and peach tones, the piece reflects Miró’s intuitive use of line and color to create abstract narratives. Produced by Mourlot in Paris, it belongs to a portfolio inspired by poetic and imaginary realms, aligning with Miró’s continued interest in subconscious expression.

What is dada?
Also known as Dadaism, Dada was a literary and artistic movement that began in 1916 in Zurich, Switzerland. It emerged as a rejection of rationalism and nationalism, which were seen as contributing factors to World War I. The movement had political undertones and was strongly anti-war. Dada activities included demonstrations, gatherings, and the publication of literary and art journals that explored cultural and political topics.
