Elk beeld, met een afmeting van 81 x 100 cm, toont Harings kenmerkende stijl van dikke lijnen en energieke figuren. De scènes tonen een groot figuur, symbool voor onderdrukking, die een kleiner, hondachtig figuur met een rode kruisband aan een lijn houdt. Deze krachtige beeldtaal verwijst naar de anti-apartheidsstrijd in Zuid-Afrika, een zaak die Haring door middel van zijn kunst ondersteunde. De serie onderstreept zijn toewijding om visuele taal als een middel van activisme te gebruiken, waarbij vereenvoudigde vormen complexe sociale kwesties op een toegankelijke manier communiceren.

Wat is Street Art?

Straatkunst is kunst die wordt gecreëerd en uitgevoerd in openbare ruimtes, buiten de traditionele kunstlocaties.
