Screenprint on 410 gsm Somerset Tub paper.- This intricately detailed silkscreen print of his 1996 iconic sculpture of supermodel Kate Moss depicts her unearthly beauty, but shows her limbs contorted in an extreme yoga pose, a reflection on the distortions of global media.Taking a three-dimensional image of the sculpture, and working directly with the artist, the print is hand finished in a choice of gold and silver leaf. 12 colors including a silk-screen glaze were used to produce the screenprinted image of the Sphinx.

Quelle est la nouvelle figuration ?
Art néo-figuratif est un terme collectif qui désigne la renaissance de l'art figuratif en Amérique et en Europe dans les années 1960, après une période dominée par l'abstraction. Michel Ragon, critique d'art français, a soutenu que cette résurgence de la figuration s'est produite à une époque critique de bouleversements sociaux et politiques dans les deux régions.
