What is Browser Art?

What is Browser Art?

Browser art is a form of renegade art where artists use computers to transform code, website structures, and server links into visual material. These artists, often called net artists or net writers, manipulate computer code to create artworks that transform web pages into entirely different images or experiences.

Plaster

Plaster is a mixture of heat-treated powdered gypsum combined with water to create a workable material. It can be used to make solid sculptures, cast in molds, carved, modeled, or attached to other materials. Artists have used plaster for both working models and finished artworks for centuries due to its versatility.

Installation

Installation art is a three-dimensional artistic genre that involves site-specific works designed to alter the viewer's perception of space. These works are typically created for interior spaces, such as museums and galleries, but can also be found in private and public locations. Installation art can be temporary or permanent, depending on its purpose and setting.
