It included; stencils, screen prints, rubylith illustrations, collages, works on wood, metal and canvas and also stickers. When asked what explains his motivation in his art, Shepard answered, "Question everything." When he created the "Andre the Giant Has a Posse", it was done to inspire curiosity and make people ask about their relationship in regards to their surroundings. The sticker campaign was started to gain recognition among his classmates, Shepard had not thought about it going to a larger segment. It was only meant to get people to react, and think about their environment; however, once he saw the reaction he thinks it now is possible to create a phenomenon out of it. Shepard is a founding partner with Dave Kinsey and Phillip DeWolff in the design studio, BLK/MRKT Inc. where they create guerrilla marketing. Some of the clients they provide for are; Pepsi, Hasbro and Netscape. Shepard designed the red dinosaur for mozilla.org's logo as their mascot. (
