Massimo Vitali is an Italian photographer. He has worked in photo journalism as well as being a photographer. Vitali has worked in major European cities like London, Paris, and Madrid, besides working in cities like New York. His photographic work began to get him noticed in the 1970's when he was in his mid to late thirties. Massimo Vitali showed he has a skill for photography growing up in Italy, and honed his ability whilst studying in London. He enhanced the quality of his photos due to his knowledge of, and his training in printing. Aside from taking still photos he also made a living as a movie camera operator. However it was from 1995 that Vitali made more concerted efforts to have his photos regarded as been pieces of fine art.
