Edition of 12 - Portfolio of 15 lithographs (also available by piece ) - 47,5 x 38 cm (each) // Puntuacions by Antoni Muntadas, a 2017 limited edition portfolio, features a collection of 15 minimalist lithographs, each dedicated to a single punctuation mark. Displayed against a stark black background, the symbols—including a period, comma, question mark, exclamation point, and other typographical characters—are isolated and presented with meticulous simplicity. Each symbol holds a unique presence, encouraging the viewer to consider punctuation not merely as linguistic tools but as visual and conceptual elements that shape meaning. The repetition and isolation of these marks reflect Muntadas' interest in communication, interpretation, and the power of minimal symbols in conveying complex ideas. This portfolio invites contemplation on the nuances of language and the ways in which even the smallest symbols can profoundly influence understanding and expression.

What is Lettrism?

Lettrism is an art form that uses letters, words, and symbols to create artwork. The movement was established in Paris in the 1940s and later gained popularity in the 1950s in America. Lettrisme is the French spelling of the movement's name, derived from the French word for letter.
