Wat is Arte Povera?
Een kunststroming en stijl die in de jaren 1960 in Italië ontstond. Het combineert elementen van minimalisme, performancekunst en conceptuele kunst door gebruik te maken van alledaagse of schijnbaar waardeloze materialen, zoals kranten, stenen of vodden. Het doel was om de commercialisering van kunst te bevragen en te ondermijnen.
