Le Modernisme Tardif désigne la continuation et l'évolution des principes modernistes en art, architecture et littérature du milieu du XXe siècle jusqu'à la fin du XXe siècle. Le Modernisme Tardif explore des thèmes tels que l'aliénation, l'identité et la fragmentation de la réalité, reflétant les bouleversements sociaux et culturels de l'après-guerre. Il se manifeste dans les œuvres d'architectes comme Louis Kahn et d'artistes comme Francis Bacon, qui ont repoussé les limites du modernisme tout en répondant aux changements du monde qui les entourait.
