What is montage?

Montage is a film editing technique where a series of shots are edited into a sequence to condense time, convey information, and manage space within the narrative. While it primarily refers to this method in film, the term can also be used in various other contexts to describe the assembly of disparate elements into a cohesive whole.

Tapestry

Tapestry is a woven form of textile. It is generally heavy, and the completed work has a decorative pattern, design or realistic depiction of a portrait or real life activities. Tapestries were hung on castle walls and behind thrones as symbols of royal authority.

Gestural

Gestural art is a term that describes painting with freely sweeping brushstrokes. The primary goal of gestural art is to allow the artist to physically express emotional impulses. The varied, yet expressive paint marks are intended to convey the artist's inner thoughts and emotions, which viewers are believed to understand through the dynamic and spontaneous application of paint.

Hyper modernism

Hypermodernism is a cultural and artistic movement that emerged in the late 20th and early 21st centuries, characterized by an intense embrace of technology and a focus on speed, complexity, and the future. This movement often challenges traditional modernist values by emphasizing hyper-reality, where the boundaries between reality and virtuality blur. Hypermodernism is evident in architecture, design, and visual arts, where artists and creators use advanced digital tools and futuristic aesthetics to explore themes of globalization, identity, and the impact of technology on society.
