The Snakestone is wrapped in a woven cotton blanket.

Wat is vergankelijke kunst?

Vergankelijke kunst is een soort kunst die slechts één keer plaatsvindt en meestal maar kort duurt. Het kan niet als traditioneel kunstwerk in een galerie of museum worden tentoongesteld. Voorbeelden van vergankelijke kunst zijn performances, happenings, geluidsbeelden, flyers en massaproducten. Deze kunstvorm benadrukt het vluchtige karakter van de ervaring, die alleen op dat moment bestaat en vaak geen blijvend fysiek spoor achterlaat.
