Wat is een automatisme?
Automatisme verwijst naar een techniek in het creatieve proces die toegang biedt tot materiaal uit het onbewuste of onderbewuste. Het is gebaseerd op Sigmund Freuds psychoanalytische methode van vrije associatie. Kunstenaars waarderen dit proces vanwege het vermogen om creatieve gedachten en spontane creatie te stimuleren.
