Qu'est-ce que l'art de la bande dessinée?

L'art de la bande dessinée désigne des œuvres qui utilisent le sujet et les techniques d'impression commerciale propres aux bandes dessinées. Dans les années 1960, un groupe d'artistes a commencé à créer des peintures qui incorporaient des points Ben-Day—couramment utilisés dans les bandes dessinées et la publicité—pour créer des designs très graphiques aux couleurs vives en utilisant des techniques artistiques traditionnelles.
