What is intervention art?

Art that interacts with a previously existing audience, artwork, situation and venue/space. It has conceptual art's auspice and commonly takes the form of a performance art. It is associated with Dada Movement, Neo-Dadaists and Viennese Actionists. Stuckists have made much use of intervention art to effect other artwork's perceptions they are opposed to and or protest against the existing intervention.

Mosaic

Mosaic is the process of creating images using many different pieces of colored tile or glass. It can take hundreds placed closely together to build an entire work. The pieces are organized like puzzles, with each piece being part of the whole picture.

Giclée printing

Giclée printing is a computerized technique for reproducing artwork using a digital file and a special ink jet printer which uses acrylic, oil paints or ink. This reproduction process results in an extremely high level of color and image accuracy.

Digital Art

Digital art refers to art which is created using digital technology. It can be generated by computer, drawn or scanned with a tablet using a mouse. Video may be downloaded to computers so artists can manipulate images filmed with a video camera.
