Terry Winters is a painter and printmaker whose art has progressed to envelop styles including minimalism, abstraction and modernism. Winters’ earliest works were heavily influenced by the minimalistic outputs of Brice Marden, but he eventually evolved into a style that was focussed on both organic shapes and often abstract images of botanicals and other natural mediums; Winters is also renowned for his interest and analysis of scientific processes and mathematics-based patterns – evidenced in works such as his Clocks and Clouds series.
